Pithecanthropus erectus lived in the Pleistocene era or roughly 300,000 to 500,000 years ago. Pithecanthropus erectus brain volume estimated at 770 – 1000 cubic centimeters. Part of fossil bones of early humans were found in the jawbone, some teeth, and some bones of the skull.
